Treatment
Individual Neuropsychological Treatment
Treatment incorporates brain health education, relaxation training, and compensatory cognitive strategies. The aim is to improve your cognitive abilities so that you can function more effectively at home, work, and social settings. Teaching and training are tailored to meet each individual’s needs. We aim to increase awareness of the many different factors that affect cognitive abilities, and the changes you can make today to improve your cognitive abilities now and maintain them into the future.

Cognitive Health Program for Mild Cognitive Impairment
Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is a condition that affects a person’s memory or thinking skills beyond what is expected for the normal aging process.
Individuals may experience memory loss, word finding difficulty, or have trouble making decisions. Emotional symptoms, such as depression and anxiety, may also be present. MCI is a risk factor for developing dementia. Although there is no medication to treat MCI, research evidence indicates that there are a number of things you can do to lower your risk of developing dementia in the future.
If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with MCI, you may benefit from a specialized program to address cognitive and emotional symptoms. The program is available for individuals (person with an MCI diagnosis) and pairs (person with an MCI diagnosis and a family member).
